Privacy
Equest & Lifestyle Realty is a licensed Western Australian real estate agency. The licensee is Cath Green. The office is at 15 Hayward Street, Harvey WA 6220. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This page is a collection notice for the website and the office. It is not legal advice. Your solicitor can replace it at any time.
What we collect
If you enquire, we typically collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or property you are asking about, and the message you send — including buyer briefs, appraisal requests, landlord instructions and tenancy applications. If you phone or walk in, we collect what you tell us.
Tenancy applications can include extra information required to assess a rental (for example household details, employment, or referees). We only ask for what we need for that application.
The website also records basic visit information on our own hosting: the page viewed, whether the browser looks new or returning, the referring site (for example Google or Facebook), and device size (phone, tablet or desktop). We do not use Google Analytics. We do not try to name a visitor from that data. Country is only stored if the host already provides a country code.
Why we collect it
To answer the matter you raised, to appraise and market property, to match buyers and tenants, to manage rentals, to keep records we are required to keep as an agent, and to understand which pages on this site are used. We do not sell your details. We do not buy marketing lists to email strangers.
If you send a form, we treat that as a request for us to contact you about that matter (including follow-up). If you ask us to stop, we will mark the file and not email you again except where the law requires us to keep or send a record.
Where it is stored
Website forms and office notes are stored in our private office system on our web hosting (Synergy Wholesale). A copy of a form may also be emailed to sales@equestandlifestyle.com, rentals@equestandlifestyle.com or info@equestandlifestyle.com. We do not use a third-party CRM such as LockedOn or HubSpot for this database.
Who else may see it
We only share what is needed for the job:
- the other party to a sale or lease, and their representatives, when the transaction requires it
- conveyancers, solicitors, accountants, tradespeople and insurers involved in a sale, lease or repair
- REIWA, Domain or similar portals when a property is listed
- Managed App, if we manage your rental — they process rent and give owners and tenants access to that tenancy
- CloudPano, only if you open a 360 tour we have hosted there (their player, their servers)
- our hosting provider, as the place the website and office system run
Some of those services may store information outside Australia. If that is a problem for a particular file, tell us before you send the information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and client records are kept for as long as we need them for the matter, and as long as real estate and tax rules require. Visit counts are kept so we can see how the site is used; they are not a dossier on you.
Access, correction and deletion
