WA 6233 · Shire of Harvey
Australind is Harvey shire. It does not live like Harvey town.
The shire’s population sits here more than in Harvey itself — tens of thousands, estates, a senior high school, a run into Bunbury. Different buyers, different prices, still our local government area.
If someone in Perth says “Harvey” they sometimes mean this: Australind–Leschenault, growth, four-bed estates, the Forrest Highway. We are honest about it. Our office is in Harvey town because lifestyle, equestrian and rural still sit inland. Australind is the other half of the shire — more volume, more suburban, still people who ring us when the block at the back has a paddock or they want a manager who answers the phone.
When we are the right agent
A standard Australind four-by-two in a cul-de-sac may be better with a volume office that lives on that street every Saturday. A larger lot, a rural fringe, a landlord who wants Managed App and a human, a buyer who also wants Cookernup acreage — that is us. We would rather say so than take a listing we will not serve.
REIWA’s Australind house median was about $755,000 to June 2026, rents around $680 a week. That is a different number to Harvey town for a reason.
Questions people actually ask
Should I list my Australind house with a Harvey town boutique?
If it is a typical suburban product, maybe not. If you want the same two people on a less typical property, or you already know us from a rural sale, call and we will tell you straight.
Is Australind good for investors?
There is rental depth compared with Harvey town. Yield and vacancy still need current numbers. We manage as well as sell; we will not quote a brochure yield.
