WA 6218 · Shire of Harvey
Yarloop is not a tragedy pitch. It is a town that stayed.
The 2016 Waroona–Yarloop fire took most of the old town. What is here now is smaller, newer in places, and held by people who chose it. If you cannot talk about that with respect, you should not be selling it.
We have sold land and houses in Yarloop. Buyers come for price, for a shed, for a start on the land, for a quieter street than they can buy in Australind. Some are coming home. Some are priced out of the coast.
What to expect on the ground
You will see vacant lots, new houses, older places that survived, and rural land around the townsite. Insurance, bushfire attack level, and whether the block is actually connected are not fine print here — they are the first conversation. We will not talk around that.
Community
The resource centre, the people who rebuilt, the fact the town still has a name on the highway: that is the story, not a marketing line. If you want nightlife, this is the wrong listing. If you want a place with a memory and a future, we can walk it with you.
Questions people actually ask
Is Yarloop safe to buy in after the fire?
Plenty of people have, including through our office. You still do the due diligence every rural buyer should: BAL, vegetation, access, water, insurance quotes before you are in love. We help you ask the right people.
Can I get land in Yarloop without a huge budget?
Land has been one of the reasons buyers look here. Stock changes. Call Lee or Cath for what is actually available rather than scrolling a national map.
